The Pugwash Band is a group of folk musicians that  provides a selection of material in English, Scottish and Irish styles.  Our main activity is the Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) or Barn Dance, although we also take bookings for fetes, private parties and folk club appearances.
We operate around Kent, Sussex and Surrey, with occasional forays into South London and Essex.

We put the emphasis of the dances firmly on fun, rather than expertise, and aim to get you to enjoy yourselves and mix with everyone.  For this reason we are especially popular for weddings, birthday parties, dinner events etc.

We provide entertainment throughout the evening, interspersing the dances with songs and tunes.  Our sound system is more than enough for the largest of ballrooms, village halls, marquees etc. and is fully 'PAT' tested and certified for electrical safety.  We also have comprehensive Public Liability insurance.
